On Tuesday, September 5, it was reported that a 33-year-old Nigerian man was killed in India by suspected cultists who dumped his corpse near the railway gate in Hennur, Northeast Bengaluru.
NAIJ.com earlier disclosed that Chigozie was killed due to argument over the desirability of Biafra by some Nigerians. Unfortunately, the whole argument was blamed on the deceased which led to his death.
However, Chigozie’s body was found on Monday, September 4, and the Indian police in Bengaluru are already probing his death.

Following his death, Nigerians have come out to react saying that they do not believe the young man was killed after engaging in such an argument.
One man said: “If you want peace you must prepare for war, warfare surrounds the birth of a miracle. If you want freedom pay the price, it's not a sin. Our readiness to make painful sacrifices at critical times will bring about the desired change. Remember that anger is the birth place for solution, solutions are borne when you are angry and cannot take it anymore. I love Biafra.”

Another said: “Which other tribes must have done this in Indian? May be Hausa/Fulani and Yorubas are responsible. I felt irritated to hear such lie and propaganda against Nigeria each time such thing happens. Propaganda hardly wins war my dear. Your brother might have died through accident. Look for other excuse than relying on lies to tarnish Nigeria image.”
