- A former Supreme Court judge, Justice Paul Nwokedi has passed away
- Nwokedi, the former Chief Judge of the old Anambra state died at the age of 91
Justice Paul Nwokedi, a retired Supreme Court judge and pioneer chairman, National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) is dead.
NAIJ.com gathered that Nwokedi who passed away at the age of 91, was also Chairman of the National Law Reform Commission for 10 years.
Late Justice Nwokedi had practised law for about 17 years before he was appointed a judge of East Central State, comprising Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi and Imo state.
The deceased bowed out of the Bench in 1995, was also a former Chief Judge of the old Anambra State.

Nwokedi, almost became a royal father, Igwe-Achalla but declined and gave the opportunity to his younger brother, Dr. Alex Nwokedi.
In a previous report by NAIJ.com, Cross River Chief Judge Ikpi-Itam passed away at the age of 63 years, in the early hours of Saturday, March 18 after a brief illness.
The late chief judge was a native of Ugep in Yakurr local government area of the state. He was born on May 18, 1954, in Ugep and went on to become the chief judge of Cross River in 2013.
