Prior to the start of the ongoing Premier League season in England, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte wanted to sign some superstars that will bolster his squad this term.
But his desire to get these players were never accomplished as some of his targets turned their backs for a move to Chelsea who are the reigning Premier League champions.
During the recent summer transfer in England, Chelsea coach Antonio Conte tried all he could to sign Belgian star Romelu Lukaku, but the former Everton man decided to move to Manchester United.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was also on the verge of moving to Chelsea from Arsenal, but the Englishman turned down the move at the death.
Juventus left back Alex Sandro also turned down a move to have a reunion with Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge as he decided to stay put in Turin.

The one that surprised many football fans was that of Everton star Ross Barkley who has had a medical examinations at Stamford Bridge, but later rejected a move and made a return to Goodison Park.
