N-Power speaks on 2017 assessment test results

- N-Power has reacted to speculation about 2017 assessment test results

- N-Power online assessment test commenced July 1 and ended August 31

- It declared that no name has been shortlisted after the assessment test

N-Power has reacted to speculations surrounding release of results of the 2017 assessment tests.

NAIJ.com gathered that the programme gave its reaction via its Twitter handle‏ @npower_ng on Thursday, September 28.

“For those who wrote the 2017 application assessment tests, please note that no names have been released”, it said.

N-Power online assessment test commenced July 1 and ended August 31.

Applicants in four categories – Tax, Health, Agro and Teach – attempted the test.

The duration of the programme is 2 years and participants will undergo an initial induction training prior to deployment.

N-Power Volunteer Corps is part of the Federal government’s Social Investment Programmes, under which it plans to hire 350,000 unemployed graduates.

Nigerian government recently warned that volunteers caught or implicatedin the sale of the programme’s tablets would be dismissed.

Presidential Aide on Job Creation and Youth Empowerment, Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede, gave the warning in Abuja.

His words: “Information reaching us is that some of our N-Power Volunteers are attempting to dispose their device, we urge you in your best interest not to do so.

“Once caught, you would not only be dismissed from the programme, you would be blacklisted from other federal government’s social Investment Programmes.

“A lien would also be placed on your bank accounts for the full refund of the asset cost to the Bank of Industry”.
