A popular online news media, Sahara Reporters has revealed how a senator representing Bayelsa East senatorial district, Senator Ben Murray Bruce allegedly used diverted loans to purchase five million dollar mansion in Beverly Hills.
NAIJ.com gathered that Bruce who is a self-proclaimed commonsense senator reportedly purchased $5m mansion in Beverly Hills after diverting series of loans.

Bruce’s constituents had threatened to begin a process of recalling him for neglecting them.
The angry constituents, who comprised mainly students, accused the ‘common sense’ Senator of neglecting them as well as having no plans for his constituency.
Murray-Bruce’s constituency comprises Nembe, Brass and Ogbia local government areas of the state.
They lamented that the Senator was not in good relationship with his people and had allegedly continued to shy away from his constitutional responsibilities.

They cried out that the senator was donating relief materials to people in other states whereas his own constituents were wallowing in abject poverty with many students from the constituency unable to pay their school fees.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had previously reported that Senator Ben Murray Bruce suggested that Nigeria should appoint a minister of common sense as people in government do dumb things.
