Zambia on Tuesday night gave themselves serious hopes of qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup after defeating Algeria 1-0 in their round of 4 game of the World Cup qualifier.
Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez made a return to the first team, but he was unable to save his country from an embarrassing defeat at home.
Striker Patson Daka scored the only goal that condemned Algeria to a defeat in the 67th minutes as the Chipolopolo must now avoid defeat in the next match against Nigeria.

Nigeria currently lead group B in the African zone of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and a win for them against Zambia in October 2017 will give them the ticket for the 2018 showpiece.
