A calf conceived with a fifth leg is accepted to have acquired fortunes in a little town in India.
Villagers who streamed to Hasan Ali's ranch in north-east India were stunned to see the mutant dairy calf still alive more than a week after its birth.
Since it is so uncommon, villagers travelled from distant locations abroad to Mr Ali's homestead to see the bizarre creature, trusting it would bring them good fortunes.

Speaking to the local press, Mr Ali uncovered that he was stunned to see a distorted leg swinging from the calf's behind.

He further said that he had dreaded the calf would die quickly. Fortunately, it is feeding well and full of life.
