Some gunmen suspected to be herdsmen have attacked a community in Girei local government area of Adamawa state.
Channels Television reports that the suspected herdsmen invaded the Koh community in the area at about 11.30 pm on Sunday, November 12.
NAIJ.com also gathered that attackers shot sporadically into the air, sending residents fleeing into different directions.

One person was killed during the attack.
NAIJ.com earlier reported that more than 15,000 people fled their homes in Taraba state.

The residents mostly farmers took refuge in an internally displaced persons camp in the area.
