- Chelsea are still interested in the signing of Juventus defender Alex Sandro
- The Blues want him as a replacement for David Luiz who could leave the club
- There are reports that David Luiz could be on his way to Real Madrid in January
Premier League champions Chelsea are reportedly set to renew their interest in the signing of Juventus defender Alex Sandro in the January 2018 transfer.
According to the report by UK Sun, the Blues want the 26-year-old Brazilian defender to replace embattled David Luiz who could be on his way to Real Madrid next year.
David Luiz had a bust-up with Chelsea gaffer Antonio Conte earlier this month and was left out of the match-day squad to face Manchester United.

He then missed games against West Brom and Liverpool and there seems little inclination of Conte's part to restore Luiz to the first team.

The report also stated that Chelsea coach Antonio Conte has told the Blues' chiefs to step up the process in their attempt to sign Sandro in January 2018.
