The biggest stars at the Mobo Awards
First of all, we let us talk about the charismatic musician from South London named Stormzy. He became the shining star of the annual celebration for black British musicians Mobo Awards 2017.
Jeremy Corbyn had nothing but good things to say about this talented artiste. He was nominated in 5 categories and received 3 awards (best album, best grime act, best male performance).
Corbyn announced that it is important for the world to appreciate black musicians and celebrate their creative achievements. This year their work had a significant impact on the development of the British entertainment industry.

- The song "Did You See" by J Hus was named the best hit.
- Mist received the best video award for his big-budget work 'Hot Property.'
- Also, Stefflon Don was honoured as the best female act. Many fans were happy to see her at Leeds Arena during the ceremony. The American rapper, Cardi B, the charismatic duo Krept & Conan from London, the famous Yxng Bane, and Jungen also performed at the event.
- MC Giggs, who has collaborated with such American stars as Drake, 2 Chainz, and Young Thug was also honoured. His recent albums earned him the 2nd place on the UK music charts.
- Dave received the title of the best newcomer. His of rap and pop hits have attracted the attention of many fans.
- Craig David won the prize best R&B/soul act. His new album will be released next year.
- Wizkid, one of the most beloved Nigerian musicians, became the leader in the best international act category ahead of Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z.
