Ex-minister of foreign affairs and former Nigerian ambassador to France, Oluyemi Adeniji died in a London hospital on Wednesday, November 29.
Adeniji was minister of foreign affairs from 2003 to 2006 and minister of interior from 2006 to 2007 under Olusegun Obasanjo's administration.

Adeniji was Special Representative of the General Secretary with the United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone from November 19, 1999 to July 16, 2003.
Adeniji was Nigerian ambassador to France for 5 years.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that a former minister of state for foreign affairs, Saidu Isa, is dead.
Isa’s death was confirmed by the Kwara state government on Thursday, October 19.
The Kwara state Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, described the death of a former minister of state for foreign affairs and one time Secretary to the State Government, Saidu Isa, as a big loss to the state and the country as a whole.
