- Aguero last night made history by becoming City's all time highest goalscorer
- His 69th minute strike against Napoli put the citizens in front for the second time in the game
- The Argentine has now scored 178 goals for City breaking Eric Brook's 78 years record
Aguero scored the goal that made him become Manchester City's all time highest goalscorer on the same pitch where Maradona made history and will give his shirt to his son- Maradona's grandson.
When the Argentine was purchased by Roberto Mancini from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2012, only few would have predicted him to go all the way to the top of City's goalscorers' chart.

Aguero was a goal away from equaling Eric Brook on 177 before he had a fatal accident which he was lucky to survive.
He came back after a three weeks layoff to equal brook's record against Burnley before netting City's third goal against Napoli to break Brook's record.
The striker reached the milestone in just 264 games with 129 goals coming in the Premier League, 24 in Champions League, 14 in the FA Cup and four in the League Cup.
He's netted another four in the Europa League and the final three in Champions League qualifier.
Aguero has scored more more goals against Newcastle than against any other team in the Premier League(11), and Spanish magician David Silva has provided him with more assists than any other City player(19).
The former Atleti striker has so many admirers among City players, one of them is Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus who called Aguero "Amazing".
“I support him and I hope he can beat the record as soon as possible,” said Brazil international Jesus. “He deserves to become the top scorer of this club.
“I get on with Sergio very well. He’s an amazing guy. All of us know what type of player he is. He’s a fantastic person and I’m a fan of his.

“It’s very good to play with him. When you have a good relationship off the pitch, it’s easier to bring it on to the pitch. That’s what we have.

“We help each other, and that helps City. We both defend the shirt of this club, so we pull together on the pitch, the same way we get along off the pitch.
“It’s a very important in a player’s career, especially for a striker, to score a lot of goals.”
Man City will be relying on Aguero and Jesus to be in their elements as they look to continue their good form in the league this weekend against Arsenal at the Etihad.
