An African American man identified as David Love who recently traced his ancestors to Nigeria says he would be coming to his homeland in 2018.
Love who is a United States citizen is married to a white woman with two beautiful kids. He would relocate to Nigeria with his family.
According to Love, his ancestors who were from Abia state were captured and shipped to the United States for slavery.

He explained that his ancestors survived as slaves on a plantation in Virginia so that he might return to his homeland one day.
The man noted that he traced his Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) to a distant cousin who is from Umunwanwa in Abia state.
His cousin, identified as Obie Uwadineke told him that he descends from Umuahia the capital of Abia state. Love also noted that he is from a clan within Umuopara.
The man further added that an Igbo man identified as Mazi Ikem Eronini provided Igbo attires for him to wear.

“I am African American but my ancestor was captured and shipped to North America for enslavement. It was here that my ancestor survived on a slave plantation in Virginia so that I might one day return to my homeland. I am descended from the Igbos of Umuahia and my clan is within Umuopara.
My DNA has been connected my distant cousin Obie Uwadineke who is from Umunwanwa. Mazi Ikem C. Eronini has provided me with the clothing so that I can dress as an Igbo man. I am returning 2018 to visit.”
