For few weeks now, there has been much talk about whether it is okay to pay tithes in church or not.
The conversation became a trend after popular Nigerian On Air Personality Daddy Freeze attacked several pastors of defrauding people by collecting tithes in their churches.
Many Nigerians, including celebrities and several pastors reacted to the trending topic sharing there diverse opinions on social media.
Popular Nigerian pastor, Apostle Johnson Suleman, recently shared his view on the topic and told Daddy Freeze he has no right to attack pastors about church issues.
Meanwhile, a Nigerian man identified as Sirkay Johnson has attacked the Omega Fire Ministries pastor for the comment he made about paying tithes.
Nigerian man scolds Apostle Suleman for supporting tithing

Apostle Suleman had expressed that paying tithes in his church was not compulsory, adding that he gets his money through his personal businesses.
However, the man who claimed to personally know the pastor alleged that Apostle Suleman made his money with tithes paid in his church.
According to him, paying tithes was a thing of the Old Testament. He claimed that tithes was broken when Jesus Christ washed away all sins.
He said: “Why would Apostle Suleiman not support tithing. When he is benefiting from it. I know Apostle Johnson Suleiman very well and even when he got married to lizzy he wore native on top of English clothes and Lizzy Elder Brother did not want his sister lizzy to Marry Apostle Johnson Suleiman because of his financial condition. Surprisingly the same Apostle Johnson Suleiman is now lying that he was a millionaire before he became Pastor in 2004.Tithing is a thing of the Old Testament, when the blood of animals were use as sacrifices unto the Lord. But when Jesus Christ died the law of tithing was broken as the curtains in the inner sanctuary were tore from up to down. We are now living under grace. Don't allow anyone to deceive you to pay tithes. The same Apostle Johnson Suleiman that is collecting five thousand naira from members that wants to receive his hand shake as blessings of the week.”
