Arsene Wenger says he side have no chance of signing AS Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar,
The Frenchman has looked to sign the winger but after Monaco's refusal to sell, Wenger says the deal is dead in the water.
And Wenger has confirmed that there's no chance of a deal being done before next week's transfer deadline.

Wenger says the club is negotiating the sale of Kylian Mbappe and Fabinho while they are not keen to sell again after losing Benjamin Mendy, Bernardo Silva and Tiemoue Bakayoko.

When asked whether a move could still happen, the Arsenal boss replied: "It is dead, Monaco have closed the door, definitely, because they have ongoing cases like [Kylian] Mbappe, Fabinho.
"They lost already [Benjamin] Mendy, Bernardo Silva and Tiemoue Bakayoko, so Monaxo are at a stage where they have closed the door."

Mendy and Silva joined Pep Guardiola at Manchester City while Bakayoko joined Antonio Conte at Chelsea.
