Ibrahim Magu, acting chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has said the commission recovered N409bn from January to date.
Magu disclosed that the total amount recovered within the time frame is $69.5m and E23m .
NAIJ.com gathered that he made this disclosure while addressing newsmen in Abuja.

He, however, reiterated that the agency’s readinesst to ensure that corruption is completely wiped out in Nigeria.
According to him, the EFCC is prosecuting many of its staff that are involved in bribery and other corrupt practices because the commission is currently engaging in internal cleansing.

The acting chairman also said that he is finding the fight against corruption easy at this time.
