- Mohammed said if the government wants Kanu back in custody for violating certain conditions it should have ordered a court to do so
- He also said the IPOB leader was sent to jail through the court order and he can as well be rearrested by the same court
Junaid Mohammed, second republic lawmaker has blamed President Muhammadu Buhari’s government for its approach to send Nnamdi Kanu, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) back to prison.
Mohammed who accused President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration described its plan to rearrest Kanu as ''noise making''.
NAIJ.com gathered that the former lawmaker said if the government feels it wants him back in custody for violating certain conditions it should have told the same court that earlier set him free.

He said: ''Kanu was sent to jail through a court order. And if the government feels it wants him back in custody for violating certain conditions, they can go back and tell the same court.

''What we have now shows that the executive is not in order. What the government has done is a routine thing that does not require noise making''.
