Reports have emerged that at least, over 200 members of the House of Representatives have so far taken possession of their new Peugeot 508 official cars.

He also denied that money was being given instead to lawmakers who were yet to receive their keys.
PAN had been contracted by the House leadership to supply the vehicles to all the 360 members as utility vehicles.
Although Namdas could not give the exact figure, he said at least about two third (240) of the lawmakers had accessed their vehicles.
He said: “The last time I spoke with the chairman, House services committee, over 200 members had been given their cars. And I think this issue has been settled. Every member is going to get his or her own cars.
“But I want Nigerians to know that the cars are official vehicles. In fact, in the past two years, Honourable members have been using their private cars and I think Nigerians should sympathise with us.
“It is not true that Honourable members are now given cash because they could not get cars. Every member is going to get a car but as I have been explaining, so there is no iota of truth in the story.”
NAIJ.com had earlier reported that at least 161 members of the House of Representatives have yet to sponsor a single bill.
According to the investigation, since their inauguration on June 9, 2015, only 199 members out of the 360-member strong House of Reps have sponsored at least one bill.
