Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom state was a surprise guest at Nigeria's Super Eagles training this evening August 31 as the team gets ready to host the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon at the Godswill Akpabio stadium Uyo.
The governor who was seen all smiles urged the players to do their best to secure three points in the Group B World Cup qualifier clash against Cameroon.

It was gathered that the governor also redeemed his pledge of $30,000 to the Super Eagles for their 3-1 victory over Algeria in November 2016.
The governor was received by the NFF president Amaju Pinnick as Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi introduced him to his teammates.
Nigeria are targeting their 12th win over Cameroon.
In 20 previous encounters, Nigeria have been winners 10 times, with Cameroon winning four times and six matches drawn.
