The national chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Victor Oye has commended President Muhammadu Buhari's style of leadership since assuming power in 2015.
Oye while speaking in Abuja said people like Buhari are hard to come by.
He urged Nigerians to endeavour that President Buhari is often appreciated for his good works.

Also condemning those who has alleged that President Buhari has not achieved anything since his assumption into office, Oye said, “We can make this nation work. Look at corruption; whoever said Buhari did not fight corruption, that person is not fair. Look at the Treasury Single Account (TSA), it means bye-bye to corruption."
Government saves billions every month that were going to private pockets; now nobody can do that again, at all," Oye said.

He warned citizens to desist from making hate speeches that could undermine or destroy Nigeria's unity.
Oye further justified Buhari's appointments.
He said: “When Buhari came initially, all his appointments were skewed towards the North.
Who wouldn’t do that? We would all do the same thing. You know we’re growing as a nation.
Now he has realized and he has said it particularly to the south easterners that he is going to do something to balance the inequilibrium; that’s a leader. Nobody in life is perfect; we can build a strong united nation burying out hatchets as a people,” Oye added.
NAIJ.com earlier reported that Oye while reacting to reports of his suspension by the party said he is still the chairman of APGA.

Oye said he was still in charge of all the affairs in the party despite squabbles and speculations by some party members.
He also described those circulating news of his alleged suspension as saboteurs who were working with those against the progress of APGA.
