Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state has been conferred with the chieftaincy title of Apesin-Apagun P’ote of Ado Ekiti by the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe.
The event which took place today, August 25, was attended by the high and mighty in the society. The mother of the governor, Evangelist Olufunke Fayose was also present as she took out the time to celebrate with her son.

Fayose who was dressed in a traditional attire had chieftaincy leaves stuck to his cap. He also wore the beads worn by chiefs at the event.

More pictures of the governor were also shared by Bola Agboola on Facebook. The ceremony which took at the Ewi’s palace left the state capital rocking. Fayose was spotted holding a scepter of office in the pictures posted by Agboola.
The governor’s mother got a lot of attention as she was fashionably dressed in a green lace with white aso-oke.
