The French League have asked La Liga to accept Neymar's release clause after it was rejected earler today, Thursday, August 3.
Neymar's agent arrived La Liga's office on Thursday to pay the £198m world record fee signed by PSG by cheque but it was rejected.

The President of France Emmanuel Macron has reported seen PSG President Nasser al-Khelaifi at a charity event and congratulated him on the deal saying: “Congratulations, I understand there’s been some good news.”
The LFP confirmed the former French champions have paid the release clause but said it was rejected as they believed it was against UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules
Neymar is waiting for his record transfer to PSG having notified Barcelona of his intention to quit the club.

The PSG-bound player has reportedly agreed a five-year deal with the French club and will earn £26.8m-a-year (€30m) after tax approximately £515,000-a-week (N248m-per-week and N35m-per-day).
