The Nigerian army has called out Ekiti state governor, Ayodele Fayose, over his comments on matters affecting the military.
The military who cautioned the governor made this know on their twitter account on August 3.

According to the army, Governor Fayose should stop "politicizing the military and military OPS, seek other avenues for your relevance. The army today is not corrupt."
NAIJ.com had earlier reported that former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, and Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state have allegedly been selected to fly the flag of the Peoples Democratic Party as its presidential candidates in 2019.

This was said to have been confirmed by a source within the party.
Atiku who is a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) served as vice president on the platform of the opposition party from 1999 to 2007 and has not hidden his intention to become the president of the country.
