The federal government of Nigeria, on Friday, August 25, asked a court to revoke the bail granted to Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Kanu, in a reply to the report, vowed to deal with anyone who attempts to arrest him again, and Nigerians have a lot to say about Kanu's reply to the federal government.
Below, NAIJ.com brings to you some of Nigerians' reactions to the federal government's plan and Kanu's reply:
Don Michael wrote: "Tough talker. Take it easy dude, these guys killed Abiola and General Yar'adua and nothing happened. You are more useful to your IPOB alive than dead. Keep your head down and make less use of your mouth."
Facebook user, Chimelum Ajanma, thinks Nigeria might be plunged into a war should Kanu be re-arrested.
He wrote: "One thing is sure, Nigeria will not remain the same if anything should happen to Kanu.
How do you touch someone with that size of followers and nothing will happen? Remember that his popularity increased after his arrest, People took bullets for his release.
I don't think Nigeria as a Nation can stand what will befall her should anything happen to Kanu."
Nsa Okon Eyo wrote: It is this arrogance and pride that he and his ipob supporters showcase that get me upset most time, God Himself resist such people who are full of pride. Ojukwu never inspite of his wealthy background and popularity among the people of the defunct eastern nigeria display such pride n arrogance.
