- Rumors have been rife that the younger Saraki would follow his father’s footsteps and venture into politics
- The senate president however laid the rumors to rest as he stated that his son had no political ambitions
Senate president Dr. Bukola Saraki, has stated categorically, that there is no truth to the rumors of his son participating in the 2019 governorship election in Kwara state.
Saraki made his comments as he spoke in Abuja at a forum organized by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

According to the senate president, his son, who just graduated from a UK university, has no interest in politics.
He stated: “That is not in the offing at all; I am sure he doesn’t even want to hear politics at all”.
Saraki said nowadays, children of politicians are reluctant to venture into the political space.

NAIJ.com previously reported that Dr. Bukola saraki and his wife recently flew to London to attend the graduation ceremony of their son.
The younger Saraki just graduated form the London School of Economics.
