Chelsea coach Antonio Conte has explained that Tiemoue Bakayoko is fit to face Stoke City in their next Premier League tie despite being involved in a car accident.
The Frenchman suffered bruising when his Mercedes car careered off the road on Thursday, September 21 when he was returning from training.
There are fears that the player who joined Chelsea this summer from Monaco might have suffered internal injury in the crash, but the Blues gaffer has given an update on the development.

“Bakayoko is fit. It was a manual accident but he’s fit and available for the Stoke game on Saturday.
“All players are available for tomorrow apart from Drinkwater. He continues to work to try to recover from his injury.” the former Juventus manager explained.

Chelsea currently occupy third position on the Premier League standings with 10 points from 5 games, while their opponents on Saturday, September 23 are 13th on the log with 5 points.
