Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has extended his contract with the club until 2021.
The Spanish giants confirmed the reports of the contract renewal in a post on their official website.

Benzema follows teammates Isco and Dani Carvajal in committing his long-term future to Los Blancos.
The 29-year-old joined Madrid from Lyon for €35 million in 2009 and has won 14 trophies at the Bernabeu.
His deal was set to expire in 2019, and the new deal means he will remain at the Bernabeu past his 33rd birthday.

Reports originating from Spain claims his net salary has been increased to more than €7.5 million a year and that the new arrangement includes a release clause of €1 billion.
In recent years, Benzema has been linked with clubs such as Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain but recently said: "As a forward, when you're at a club and you're a first-team regular, you don't need to look elsewhere...especially when you're at a club like Real Madrid."
