Last two seasons when Enugu Rangers won the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title, the Flying Antelopes were given 2 Million naira donation by Catholic cleric Father Mbaka Ejike.
Father Ejike Mbaka was said to be happy with Enugu Rangers' performance in the Nigerian top flight, and donated the money to the players.
But the management of the Flying Antelopes refused to share the money among the players that won the League title, and the cleric has asked for his money to be returned.

Interestingly, Enugu Rangers' management led by former Super Eagles coach Christian Chukwu that collected the money have been dissolved, and Father Mbaka Ejike has given them two weeks to return his money.

The cleric was also said to be livid with Enugu Rangers alleged fetish practice for good luck in their matches at the just concluded NPFL season where they escaped relegation on the last day.
