Immediate past president of Nigeria Goodluck Jonathan says he he proud of the Super Eagles despite their 1 - 1 draw with Cameroon in a FIFA Worl Cup Qualifier.
The Eagles secured a 1 - 1 draw with the Indomitable Lions on Monday night.

In a post on Facebook, Jonathan hailed the team and said he was confident the team "can and will" go places.
After Nigeria had won the first leg 4 - 0 in Uyo, Jonathan congratulated the team and praised them for unifying the country with their win.

Moses Simon scored the opener in the 30th minute but Cameroon equalized late in the game via a Vincent Aboubakar penalty.
