A couple at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Borno state, recently welcomed their bundles of joy and named them after their governor, Kashim Shettima, his wife and the commissioner for poverty alleviation program in the state.
The couple Aisha and Ayuba welcomed their triplets on Saturday, September 9. They gave birth to two beautiful baby girls and a bouncing baby boy.
At the IDP camp, close friends of the couple could be seen gathering round them to celebrate the arrival of the new born babies.

According to Laila’s blog who posted the news on their Facebook handle disclosed that: “An IDP couple taking refuge at Madinatu camp, in Maiduguri, Borno state have named their babies after the Executive Governor of Borno state Hon Kashim Shettima, his wife Hajiya Nana Shettima and Hon Inna Galadima who is the commissioner for Poverty Alleviation in Borno state. The excited couple, Aisha and her husband Ayuba, welcomed their bundles of joy on Saturday 9th of Sept 2017. The set of triplets are two females, one male. Their naming ceremony held last Saturday, September 16.”
