Femi Fani-Kayode, the former minister of aviation has mocked Nigeria's minister of information, Lai Mohammed, for claiming that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) had the backing of France and the United Kingdom.
Fani-Kayode in a tweet on Friday evening, September 22, asked the minister to stop lying.

NAIJ.com had previously reported that the minister of information, disclosed that the financial headquarters of IPOB is located in France and the agitation was being sponsored by treasury looters and those who are politically disgruntled.
Meanwhile the government of France denied any links with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) seeking a referendum to carve out a separate country in the southeast region of Nigeria.

The federal government of Nigeria had alleged that the group was being funded from France and that it would take urgent measures to block it.
