Mixed reactions have continued to trail the recent ban on activities of members of the Indigenous People of Biafra by a federal high court in Abuja on Wednesday, September 20.
The federal high court granted an order declaring the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as a terrorist organisation following an order which was filed by Abubakar Malami, the attorney-general of the federation on Wednesday, September 20.
While reacting to the ban imposed on IPOB, Balling Odinma said: "It's really funny because this government is really clueless. Did they know if they declare IPOB a terrorist group that the world would want to know what makes the IPOB a terrorist group. This is a major failure on the side of the Nigerian government."

Ernest Anene Alex on his part said: "I told everyone to keep calm that we are cooking a very delicious food for FG. Buhari has made his worst and last mistake in Biafran land. We will drag Nigeria all over the world. They are just running for nothing. The fire is about to start. Let us see the country that will sell arms to Nigeria again to use against civilians instead of terrorists."
But Martins O Adepoju, a Facebook commentator argued that the FG made the right decision in proscribing IPOB.
In his reaction, he said: "If you're a Biafra supporter and you think proscribing IPOB as a terrorist group is wrong, then something is wrong with your head.
"You guys got yourself into the mess you are today. We all know Boko Haram they don't need advert again...as worse as BH is, they haven't made direct threat to the institutions of the Nigeria government the way IPOB leader has done.
"Sometimes BH don't even announce attacks and you'll just see it happening, they'll later claim responsible for it.
"Nnamdi Kanu has made enough direct threats to the government and even the president himself.
"I will go to Abuja and come back with Buhari's head" "If there's any attempt to arrest me, I order you to burn down the zoo" "There will not be elections in Anambra or other Biafra states, until referendum is conducted."
"These are just few of his speeches, we've got a lot of other hate speeches, that could ignite tribal war and those that supports religious bigotry and yet you're here saying it's wrong to proscribe IPOB as a terrorist group.
"If IPOB had been going on about this agitation for freedom in the right way, guess they won't find themselves in this mess.
"They say it's either "Biafra or death" but when death comes they'll start shouting and complaining! Infact Nnamdi Kanu hasn't been seen for few days now, leaving other IPOB members he has brainwashed behind.
"Biafra cannot be achieved with violence, nor threats and all these hate speeches! 'ntil 'una head' correct and sit back to make plans with a good leader who's not arrogant nor self centered like Nnamdi Kanu," he said.
