- Madrid are now back to the top four in the La Liga table with the win
Real Madrid returned to winning ways in the Spanish La Liga after a shock 1-0 defeat to Real Betis in midweek at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
Two goals from Dani Cabellos secured all three points for Zinedine Zidane's men against La Liga strugglers Alaves who are yet to pick up a point after six games.
The first of Ceballos' goals came in the 10th minute after a brilliant cut back on the edge of the box from Marco Asensio. Ceballos used his strength to muscle Ely off the ball before side-footing his 20-yard effort into the bottom left-hand corner.

However, Alaves got the equalizer and their first goal of the season in the 43rd minute through their captain Manu Garcia.
Barcelona loanee Munir crossed the ball in for Garcia and the Alaves skipper makes no mistake directing a close-range header past Navas off the underside of the bar.

But Madrid responded three minutes later as Ronaldo broke down the right wing, took a shot which Alaves goalkeeper Pacheco fumbled, leaving Ceballos to fire a curling effort towards goal which flies into the bottom corner for his second of the night.
