Real Madrid suffered a heart breaking 1 - 0 defeat at the Santiago Bernabeu to high flying Real Betis on Wednesday night.
Los Blancos conceded in the final minute of injury time as they lost at home on Cristiano Ronaldo's return to the team after a five game ban.

Madrid came into the game following a 3 - 1 win over Real Sociedad over the weekend but could not break down the Betis wall in front of them.
The away side made the brighter start to the game as Keylor Navas was made to work twice in the first three minutes of the game.
Madrid did not have any chance of note until the second half where Gareth Bale hit the bar while Antonio Adan made a smart save from Borja Maryoral's header.

Late in the game, a right-footed low drive from Toni Kroos was pushed away for a corner.
Betis used time wasting tactics and the referee was forced to give five minutes of extra time which was how they got the winner.

Antonio Sanabria scored the winner when he was found at the far post with a cross and he headed into the net with Sergio Ramos not doing enough to deal with the danger.
