PSG defender Dani Alves says he never intentionally took the ball from Edison Cavani to give to Neymar to play a free-kick in Sunday’s 2-0 victory over Lyon.
Neymar and Cavani were arguing over who should take a free-kick and Alves took the ball and eventually Neymar subsequently ended up taking it.

As reported by Marca, Alves said: “I took the ball because I wanted to take the free kick but then Neymar took it away.”
Despite the disagreement between Neymar and Cavani, PSG managed to prevail with a 2-0 victory courtesy of own goals from Marcelo and Jeremy Morel.

Meanwhile, Neymar has unfollowed Cavani on Instagram following the row as Unai Emery'sside deal with huge egos beginning to build.
PSG's next game is away at Montpellier on Saturday.
