- The University of Benini (UNIBEN) has fixed a new date for the Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
- The examination which was earlier scheduled by the institution for September 14 had been moved to a new date
- The institution also announced strict guidelines for picking candidates allowed to take the screening exam
The management of UNIBEN has announced that the 2017 Post-UTME admission screening earlier scheduled for September 14 to 25 will now hold from September 28 to October 10.
Otasowie Oshodin, the registrar of the institution, announced this new date on Friday, September 22 in Benin.
According to Premium Times, the screening will hold in designated centres within the Ugbowo campus of the university and all candidates will take the test using the Computer Based Test mode.

The registrar also announced new guidelines, stating that only candidates who scored 200 and above in Joint Admission Matriculation Board's UTME would be eligible for the 2017/2018 UTME admission. In addition, only those who chose UNIBEN as first choice were eligible for the screening.
Mr Oshodin advised candidates to visit the university’s website – www.uniben.edu from September 25 to check for their specific screening day, venue and time.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com earlier reported that the University of Lagos (UNILAG) also announced the postponement of its Post UTME aptitude test.

The exam was earlier scheduled for Monday, September 18 to Friday, September 22. However, in a statement signed by Dr (Mrs) Taiwo F. Ipaye FNIM, who is the registrar & secretary to council on Tuesday, September 12, it was postponed.
