We need Nnamdi Kanu’s father alive or dead - Igbo monarchs tell army

- Some traditional rulers in Abia state have claimed that they don't know the whereabouts of Eze Israel Kanu, the father of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra ( IPOB)

- The traditional rulers said Nigerian army should let them know the whereabouts of Eze Israel Kanu

- They also claimed that his cook, a woman was killed during the recent attack by the army

Traditional rulers under the umbrella body of Ibeku area of Abia state have called on the Nigeria army to release dead or alive of their colleague and Eze Israel Kanu, the father of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra ( IPOB)

According to Premium Times, the traditional rulers said since the invasion and attack on his palace by soldiers they were at a loss as to his whereabouts.

NAIJ.com gathered that the monarchs through Eze Henry Ezekwem, the chairman of the council made this known in the state.

They said: ''The army should let us know the where about of Eze Israel Kanu. We need his life or dead.

''We don’t know where our colleague is; we have not heard about him or from him. We want him produced life or dead. We are also worried over the discretion of the palace and the throne.

''We totally condemn the attack on Eze Isreal Kanu’s palace by soldiers. His cook, a woman was killed during the attack. The Nigeria Army should tell us the sins of Eze Kanu.

''We call on the federal government to produce those who carried out the attack and also come to the rescue of Eze Kanu and his family over the collateral damage done in his palace and discretion of the throne.

''We were surprised that soldiers would come into Abia state for such attack without the knowledge of the Governor who is the chief security officer, to get his clearance.

''We are calling on the world to our rescue. We have been calling for dialogue but they neglected our call and came to kill''.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of the state had been issued a 24-hour ultimatum to dethrone Kanu's father .
