A Nigerian Catholic church reverend has become the first priest in Nigeria to graduate with the highest football coaching professional certificate.
The reverend father identified as Obinna Dike who graduated from the National Institute for Sports (NIS) is now a certified football coach.
Dike is reportedly a grade one referee, a coach and the founder of Anambra Independent Football League.

He is also a sports journalist and a member of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria. It was gathered that the father enrolled in NIS in January, 2014.
NAIJ.com gathered that Dike enrolled in the school to acquire a diploma in football coaching.
Dike graduated from the prestigious school alongside thirty-five other coaching and sports management graduands.

The graduands went through rigorous training that involved coahing/training, fitness, conditioning, sports law, stadium management and more to achieve the certificate.
Father Dike hails from Enugwu-Ukwu, Anambra state. He was ordained in 2001.
