The Nigeria Police Force has embarked on a show of force to send warning to anyone planning to disrupt the November 18 gubernatorial election in Anambra state.

According to the force, the operation was also to reassure the people of Anambra state of police readiness to protect them before, during and after the election.
As part of preparations for the poll, DIG Joshak Habila the deputy inspector general of police in charge of operations and supervising DIG for Anambra state gubernatorial election, had a meeting with other security chiefs in Awka, Anambra state on the strategic implementation of the Security Arrangements for the Saturday November 18, 2017 gubernatorial election.

Meanwhile, former Nigeria’s ambassador to Spain and widow of Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu Bianca, explained how the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, failed to sustain the legacies of the late Igbo leader in the All Progressives Grand Alliance.
Bianca said Obi became the governor of the state through the influence of late Ikemba Nnewi on the the platform of APGA but he had abandoned it.
Daily Sun reports that she took her anger to a new level by laying curse on her late husband’s protégée, thus asking ‘history to judge him harshly.
