- According to singer Emmy Kosgey, the reason that marriages don't work out as they should is because women are not submiss*ve enough
- Taking to social media with the advice, the singer who is married to a Nigerian billionaire asked women to accept to be the rib and their husband's helpers
- Most importantly, the singer said that women are supposed to do their duties with life if the marriage is to work
Gospel singer, Emmy Kosgei has shared some wise words on making a marriage work. In a social media post seen, Kosgei went on to deduce that majority of marriages fail because women, essentially, do not know their place and their role in marriage.

These were part of the cautionary words gospel singer Emmy Kosgei wrote to women. Read her post below:
In her words: "Humility is never a weakness in life.. pride as they say comes before a fall, it doesn't hurt to humble yourself, it doesn't take anything out of you it actually adds!

"Must it be known that you do all things? Learn to tame your character, to bite your tongue. Treat him like a king that he is, love and honor him.... some little acts look foolish but it adds value!
"Do it out of love! Wisdom is profitable! Step down from 7th flr. #Godinthecentre #silencehaspower #stayhumble #killpride #relationshipgoals#wekeeplearning," wrote Kosgei.
Another gospel singer, Size 8, also waded into the marital advise pool, telling couples to fight for their marriages because the devil hates marital relationships.
"With my little knowledge and experience concerning marriages I've realised every single marriage has a battle it's facing because the devil hates marriages. It can be financial, lack of children, health, pride, fear, infidelity, misunderstandings, in laws, friends, over working or natural calamities or even spiritual bondage,

"Don't look at a couple and think they are the best and perfect if you open their private doors you never know what you will hear or see. Build your own paradise and work on your own little heaven. Before you give up give it one more try but this time allow God to be at the centre of it,” said Size 8.
