The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) predicts partly cloudy to sunny weather conditions over the central states of the country on Friday, November 17 adding that Jos, Kaduna and Bauchi would witness hazy and sunny conditions.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that NiMet’s weather outlook by its Central Forecast Office in Abuja also predicted day and night temperatures in the range of 30 to 37 and 14 to 23 degrees Celsius respectively.

NiMet further predicted that the southern states would experience ‘partly cloudy to cloudy’ conditions with chances of localised thunderstorm over Calabar and Ikom axis during the morning hours.
There will also be localised thunderstorms over Akure, Benin, Abakaliki, Ijebu-Ode and Owerri, including the coastal cities with day and night temperatures of 30 to 37 and 23 to 25 degrees Celsius respectively.
NiMet said the northern states will experience sunny and hazy conditions throughout the forecast period with day and night temperatures of 37 to 39 and 18 to 22 degrees Celsius respectively.
“The moisture influx into the southern parts of the country is expected to result into localised thunderstorm over few cities in the south.

“Partly cloudy situation is expected over the central region while hazy and sunny condition is expected to prevail over the northern states in the next 24 hours,’’ NiMet predicted.
