Manchester City on Sunday November 5, defeated Arsenal 3 - 1 in a highly controversial match which saw the Citizens score a penalty and profit from an offside pass.
City also scored a goal that TV replay showed it was an offside goal, the referee's decision to award these two goals left Arsenal Boss Wenger fuming.

Wenger came out after the game to label City forward Raheem Sterling a diver, as Frenchman believed Sterling faked the foul against Monreal to deceive the referee.

Manchester City are irritated about about the Arsenal boss' comment have now come out to condemn what he said about their player.

Sources within City pointed to a similar episode last January, when Sterling stayed on his feet despite being shoved by Kyle Walker, now his team-mate at the Etihad Stadium, in a 2-2 draw with Tottenham.
City also claimed Sterling could have easily gone down in the box to claim a penalty in the first half but decided to stay on his feet.
