Premier League club West Brom have appointed Englishman Alan Pardew as the new manager of the club and has been given the mandate to save Albion from relegation this term.
The 56-year-old former Crystal Palace gaffer has however replaced Tony Pulis who was earlier sacked this month after poor performances in the Premier League.
Alan Pardew who had stints at West Ham United and Newcastle United is said to have agreed a two-and-a-half-year contract.

This season in the Premier League, West Brom are not finding it rosy in their campaign as they currently occupy 16th on the standings with 12 points after 14 games.
Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how the club sacked former coach Tony Pulis after heavy defeat against Premier League champions Chelsea.
