A Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the arrest of former governor of Enugu state, Chimaroke Nnamani.
Premium Times reports that the former governor had failed to appear in court and Justice Chuka Obiozor issued a bench warrant for his arrest.

The judge on Monday, December 4 said the defendant’s lawyer had failed to provide reasonable evidence for his client’s absence in court.
The defendant’s lawyer had presented pictures claiming his client had undergone heart surgery in the US but the prosecutor argued that the photographs were taken in 2014.
NAIJ.com had previously reported that the national Christian elders forum called on the Peoples Democratic Party, to stop sending former governors who mismanaged the resources of their states to the Senate.
