President Muhammadu Buhari has returned from Jordan to Nigeria after he attended the Counter Terrorism Summit.
This was contained in a tweet by Bashir Ahmad, the personal assistant to the president on new media on Monday, December 4.

President Buhari met with the king of Jordan. Abdullahi II of Jordan whom he told that regional cooperation is urgently needed to combat the world-wide threat of violent extremism., an official statement has indicated.
Femi Adesina, Buhari's spokesperson, said the president spoke at a bilateral meeting with the king and stressed that inter-regional cooperation and information sharing had become very vital to fight terrorism.
"President Buhari used the opportunity of the meeting to thank the Jordanian king for his constant support and assistance to Nigeria especially with the recent donation of armoured vehicles and other military equipment to further bolster the war against terrorism and insurgency in the country.
