- The agency also predicts northern states will experience sunny and hazy conditions
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted hazy weather conditions over the central states of the country on Saturday.
NiMet’s Weather Outlook by its Central Forecast Office in Abuja on Friday also predicted day and night temperatures in the range of 29 to 39 and 14 to 23 degrees celsius.

The agency predicted that the Southern cities would experience partly cloudy to cloudy morning with chances of isolated thunderstorms and showers over the region in the afternoon and evening period.
It also predicted that the region would experience day and night temperatures in the range of 33 to 37 and 18 to 26 degrees celsius.
According to NiMet, northern states will experience sunny and hazy conditions throughout the forecast period with day and night temperatures in the range of 33 to 38 and 16 to 26 degrees celsius.
“Sunny and haze conditions are anticipated over northern states, while the central region is expected to be in hazy condition.
“There will be partly cloudy to cloudy condition over southern areas with chances of localised thunderstorms and drizzles in the next 48 hours,” NiMet predicted.
