New photos of a little boy who was found by Danish humanitarian worker Aja Ringgren Loven has been released. The little boy now looks healthy and well taken care of after two years of being rescued in Akwa Ibom state.
The new photos were shared on Anja Ringgren Loven’s Facebook page. Loven noted that she shared the photos to help her celebrate the boy who was rescued two years ago. She expressed that she is happy that the boy survived.
Loven noted that the boy has become strong, healthy, intelligent and happy with the help of every member of her team.

It was gathered that the boy was named Hope after he was rescued from the streets. He was rescued on January 30, 2016, after being left on the street to survive for eight months on his own.

The aid-worker said:
“On the 30 of January 2016 David and I together with our team went on a rescue mission that would change our lives forever.
On the 31 of January 2016, 2 years ago today we showed pictures of the little boy we had rescued the day before.

We named him Hope. He survived. Today I want to celebrate Hope. I want to celebrate the persons responsible for his survival. His outstanding recovery. The persons who made him become a healthy, strong, naughty, intelligent and happy student: Rose Efiok, David Emmanuel Umem, Nsidibe Orok, Don Udowan, Edidiong Inyang, Ekemini Jacobs, Kingsley Umem, Bassey Antia, David Antia, Shedrach Esin, Asuquo Ita Asuquo, Matilda Udo, Ekuyik Andrew, Patience Uko and all our children ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
