- Reports earlier claimed that the former Barcelona winger will be out for up to eight weeks
Paris Saint Germain coach Unai Emery has denied reports that Neymar has been operated and has stated that the Brazilian will be ready to face Real Madrid in the Champions League.
The world's most expensive player has been sent for scans after he got injured in the 3-0 win over Marseille last weekend.
However, Emery, has insisted that the 26-year-old has not had an operation, in spite of claims from the media.

The 46-year-old said: "The information that Neymar has been operated on is false.
"I spoke with the doctor on Tuesday morning and he explained to me what the exams revealed.
"I also talked about it with Antero (Henrique), the president and the player.
"Neymar wants to play every game, for Real Madrid he is very focused.
"I think there is a small option for him to be ready for the match."
Neymar suffered a fractured metatarsal and sprained ankle in the collision, and remains a major doubt for the Champions League clash with Real, who will be bringing a 3-1 aggregate lead to Parc des Princes on March 6.

However, Emery's claim is good news for Parisians and Brazilians, who will need Neymar's inspiration in their World Cup bid this summer.

The Brazilian talisman have scored 26 goals for the French outfit since making a world record move from Barcelona in the summer.
