Paddy Adenuga has taken to the social media platform to address haters and the issue of jealousy as an epidemic in Nigeria.
When Nigerian billionaire son and writer, Paddy Adenuga, released the article titled, 'A Lion In The North Sea: The Battle For Chevron Netherlands', it stirred a lot of talk on social media. The story about how he almost bought he almost bought Chevron Netherlands without his family's support earned him a lot of admirers on the social media platform. Basically, many people considered it an inspiring story.
However, not everyone shared this excitement. So many others on social media believed that the fact that he came from a wealthy and affluent home made certain things possible for him. People believed that his story was unrealistic, at least to the less privileged people in the society. With this criticism came a lot of hate.
Well, it appears he has had enough of the hating. He recently took to the Twitter platform to address it:"bad belle (jealousy) is such an epidemic in #Nigeria so much energy spent being hateful and envious of someone else’s success or pedigree when that same energy could be applied to making one’s life better or doing positive things..#GOD help us "

In his words: "the laws of the universe are simple. you put out negative energy, it always comes back. i personally have never met a prosperous hater but i guess for some people there is a warped pleasure in spiteful envy. nothing good can come from a heart of hatred and jealousy #facts "
