He said their focus was to promote good governance and ensure the re-election of Buhari should he decide to seek a second term in office.
He said they have realised that President Buhari has done well to seeker-election and described him as a man of honour.
The group in a veiled response to Chief Olusegun Obasanjo said no amount of letter can stop President Buhari in 2019.
He said: “No amount of letters from any serial letter writer or armada of propaganda unleashed by sworn enemies of change can torpedo the insurmountable ship of change that is navigating Nigeria out of troubled waters and taking her to the safe harbour of a truly diversified, sustainable economy.”
The group noted that Nigeria was not where it should be at the moment but expressed confidence that President Buhari was on the right track to make the country better.
It said the Nigerian “political space today is more stable, predictable and respectable unlike in the past.”
The group also applauded the diversification of the economy saying other governments have only paid lip-service to it.
Meanwhile, The All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State urged President Buhari to seek re-election in the forthcoming 2019 presidential election.
The APC said President Buhari deserves a second term to serve Nigerians.
The party's acting chairman in the state, Kemi Olaleye while speaking at a rally in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday, January 31, said President Buhari's achievement cannot be over emphasised.
Olaleye also celebrating the release of seven members of the APC by an Ekiti State High Court in Ado Ekiti said the party would soon release all the achievements of the president in the state.
